Norman was exposed to the world of business at the early age of 20, after graduating with a Diploma in Accountancy from a renowned college. Armed with a vision, his first foray was in 1992 with a modest capital of RM2,000, whereupon he put to practice the knowledge he had accumulated together with his natural instincts and flair for marketing to bring KRU Capital to life and almost immediate success. Since then with his vision and strategic leadership, he has masterminded success after success, putting his unique combination of skills, talent and business acumen to the test.
His numerous achievements resulted in him receiving the Outstanding Entrepreneur Award in 2007 from the Asia Pacific Entrepreneur Awards. Today, more than fifteen years later, he has propelled the Company to the forefront of the world of media and entertainment both domestically and across foreign shores.
Norman’s expertise is sought by many other organisations as reflected by his posts in various associations including, Vice Chairman of Recording Industry Malaysia, Chairman of Anti Piracy for the Malaysian Film Producers Association, and Director on the Boards of Kuala Lumpur International Film Festival and Public Performance Malaysia.
Yusry Abdul Halim

Yusry, who showed a natural flair for creative arts since his college days, is an award winning director, who is also a 3-D Animation and Visual Effects specialist. He is the creator and director of the motion pictures, “Cicak-Man” (2006) & “Cicakman 2 - Planet Hitam” (2008). Prior to his entry into the motion picture directing arena, Yusry had directed many award-winning music videos and TV commercials for both domestic and international markets.
His efforts in “Cicak-Man” resulted in the motion picture receiving a Jury Special Award for the use of high-end visual effects in a motion picture at the Malaysian Film Festival 2007. In May 2007, Yusry received the Young Creative Talent Award from The Oxford Centre for Leadership, United Kingdom in recognition of his achievements and great contribution in the area of visual effects and CGI, as demonstrated in the same movie. More recently “Duyung” a motion picture that was enhanced with Yusry’s touch as Visual Effects Director, was awarded a Special Jury Award for the highest Box Office collections for the year 2008.
Other successful projects directed by Yusry include: television commercials for Motion Pictures of America, Samsung, Perodua, Confederation of Malaysian Tobacco Manufacturers and Celcom; music videos for various artistes including Anita Sarawak - “Seksis’, Adam - “Tak Tahu”, Ladylike – “Sick”.
Edry Abdul Halim

Edry comes brimming with the highest calibre of talent, skills and experience in the creative and technical aspects of both video and audio production. It is this expertise that makes Edry the key person to ensure that the cutting edge technology employed in the Group’s work is reflected in the quality of KRU published products.
His flair is evident in KRU’s vast catalogue of valuable intellectual property in the form of music publishing, recorded audio and video products. Edry’s literary works, which include albums, singles, music score and original soundtrack for motion pictures (“Cicak-Man”, “Duyung”, “Cicakman 2 – Planet Hitam”), have also found growing popularity in foreign shores. It is these prolific compositions that have also earned him an abundance of accolades.
As a multiple award winning composer, producer, musician and engineer, he has worked with many world-class international and local artistes in sophisticated studios around the world.
