October 12, 2008 – “Cicakman 2 – Planet Hitam” successfully held its World Premiere on October 5, 2008 at the 13th Pusan International Film Festival (PIFF) in Busan, Korea.

The world pemiere was well received by the 200 audience of film distributors and enthusiasts. October 11, 2008 – A KRU Studios Production, “The Melakan Portuguese – Preserving Their Heritage” won the “Sarasvati Award 5th Special Jury Prize” at the 6th Bali International Film Festival 2008 held on October 11, 2008. The documentary, which was directed by Sherman F. Xavier, is part of the “Enigmatic Malaysia” series of documentaries that highlight various aspects of Malaysia’s rich cultural heritage, sponsored by JT International Berhad as part of their Corporate Philanthropy initiative.

Malaysia first Hollywood movie Deadline would be in Malaysia on this coming October!

Acted by Hollywood actress Brittany Murphy in this thrillers movie - Deadline, is produced by local movie production house KRU STUDIOS. It is their first collaboration with overseas productions house. This meaning which it would be the first movie from the collaboration between local with Hollywood productions, significant that we do have the qualities to be internationalize.
